Cookie Policy

Controller

The use of cookies on www.xpecializa.com is the responsibility of:

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on a user's device when they visit certain websites.

They help ensure the technical operation of the website, remember preferences and, where authorised by the user, provide browsing statistics.

Similar technologies may also be used, including local storage, pixels and digital identifiers.

Essential cookies

These are required for the operation and security of the website and for managing consent preferences. They do not require consent and cannot be disabled through the panel where their use is strictly necessary.

Analytics cookies

These provide aggregated information about how the website is used, which pages are visited and how the website performs technically. Xpecializa uses Google Analytics only where the user accepts this category.

Functional or third-party cookies

Certain external services, such as Calendly, may set cookies when the user voluntarily chooses to activate or use their functionality.

Advertising cookies

Xpecializa does not currently use Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or other behavioural advertising or remarketing technologies.

The technical lifetime of a cookie may exceed the retention period configured for associated data in Google Analytics, which Xpecializa has set at 14 months.

The inventory may be updated automatically on the basis of scans performed by CookieYes.

Calendly

The calendar does not load automatically when the page is opened. It is activated when the user clicks to view availability.

From that point, Calendly may set cookies or carry out processing subject to its own privacy and cookie policies.

Mailchimp and WhatsApp

Radar subscriptions are managed through Mailchimp. WhatsApp is accessed only when the user clicks the relevant link.

These services may apply their own technologies and policies when the user interacts with them directly.

The website uses Google Consent Mode v2 in basic mode.

Before the user makes a choice, analytics, advertising and personalisation storage remain denied. Google Analytics may use cookies only where the user expressly accepts the analytics category.

Xpecializa does not allow Google tags to fire before consent.

On the first visit, a panel is displayed that allows users to:

  • Accept non-essential cookies.
  • Reject them.
  • Configure them by category.

Accept and Reject must be displayed with equivalent prominence.

Users can withdraw or change their consent at any time using the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.

Browser settings

Users can also delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Doing so may affect the operation of certain features.

Instructions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and other browsers are available on their respective support pages.

International transfers

Google, Mailchimp, Calendly and other providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.

Where applicable, such processing must rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other safeguards recognised under European law.

Updates

This policy may be amended where the cookies used, service providers, website configuration or applicable law change.

The final inventory should be verified using a CookieYes scan after every material change to the website.
